14 – Black and white
The key for my bullet journal.
15 – A treasure
I treasure all memories and things that show my children love me, I love them immensely! (even when they send me round the bend!)
16 – Sepia
And this is why I’m playing catch up with my Photo365 project! What started off as a bit of a sore throat virus on Friday 8th turned into a full blown chest infection by Tuesday 12th which stuck me in hospital for 3 days, 2 nights! I’m exhausted but feeling a little bit better than I did. I have 5 huge antibiotic tablets to take a day for the next 5 days. Hopefully then I’ll be able to start building up my strength and energy again.
I’m not going to beat myself up about missing a few days and needing to catch up. I couldn’t have changed this week, as far as my Photo365 project and my DayZeroProject task are concerned I’m going to consider this an acceptable catch up, I’ve still photographed what needed to be done, just not quite on the right day (I definitely couldn’t take many interesting photos from my hospital bed!).
I have stuck these two sheets in the front of my Bullet Journal. They are reminders of things I need to do this year. I also need to be more organised which I am using my BuJo for. I’m not sure which I need more, the journal or the visible reminders in the front of it! I found nothing these images on Facebook over the past week and thought they were worth remembering.
Back in May I posted about my plans for the blog and generally being more creative… well, it didn’t really happen…
A back injury led to needing lots of rest and being unable to sit comfortably for stretches of time, I didn’t even manage to start my drawing workbook. This resulted in me needing surgery in November. I’m still recovering from that, slowly getting more able to do things around the house though I still don’t know my limits and have very little stamina. Every day is a bit better and I am in so much less pain than I was before surgery. In addition to that, selling our house and finding another one to buy took a lot of time and effort
I’m hoping that 2016 is the year for me. I plan to be more creative and more organised. I’m awaiting delivery of a notebook to use as a bullet journal which should help me with both of these aims. I plan to be healthier and fitter. I want (need!) to lose weight and I want to incorporate more exercise (pilates for my back and walking) into daily life.
I know that moving house will disrupt everything but I also know that the move is the best thing for our family in the long run.
I found this cartoon on Facebook and in think it’s a good reminder of what I should do through this year and beyond.
